A masterful work of art, full of gorgeous craftsmanship detail, this entryway bench is sure to be the highlight of your home.  Featuring our uniquely shaped version of a saddle seat, this low bench provides a comfortable place to sit and remove your shoes while the low shelf could be used to store your house slippers and would also make a nice small bookcase or other display space. 

  • Every corner and edge of every component of this bench is beautifully profiled by hand.
  • A gentle hand-shaped roll at the front edge of the seat makes the sit more comfortable and also gives the wood a lovely glimmer.
  • Finely hand-cut dovetails stretch across the artfully selected side panels. Clever joinery at the bottom rail holds the overall angling shape of the bench in place while providing the support for the bottom shelf.
  • The artistically designed look-through spaces between the sides and the bench top add an air of elegance and refined styling.

With so many wonderful details to admire, you may find yourself standing in awe in front of this entryway bench rather than remembering you came to sit.  Pictured here in a contrasting combination of tiger maple and walnut, the hand-cut joinery detail and delicate layering of all of the pieces, is even more pronounced. The combination of wood colors also lets the bench more easily pair with other wood tones you may already have in your space. This bench is also available in tiger maple with cherry for a warmer tone and more subtle contrast.
